3 lbs of pork ribs

2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tsp black pepper

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp onion powder
-
1 1/2 tsp paprika
-
1 medium onion, chopped
-
4 cloves garlic, chopped
-
4 inches ginger, sliced into coins

1/2 c pineapple, chopped
-
1/2 c less sodium soy sauce
-
¾ c brown sugar
-
2/3 c honey
-
1/4 c vinegar
The Glaze

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

Remove membrane from ribs & slice ribs between bones.

Season ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, & paprika, & olive oil, then allow marinating for two hours.

Drizzle olive oil in a cast iron skillet, & sear ribs on both sides.

Once done searing, add onions, & garlic, and sauté until golden. Add ginger and continue stirring & after approximately 2 minutes, add pineapples.

Once onions are now translucent, add soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, & vinegar, & bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

Arrange ribs in a baking dish & pour glaze over the ribs. Cover in foil & cook for a total of 2 hours.

Once done, remove the ribs from the baking dish & arrange them on a baking rack. Baste ribs with juices from the baking dish & place in an oven on broil for 2 minutes. Turn them over & baste them again. Then place them in the oven for 2 more minutes.

Plate, chop green onions & sprinkle over the top & serve
